Disney will offer to the fans of Star Wars the possibility of a total immersion in the fantastic world of the film saga, due to the fact that the company plans to build two parks and a hotel themed to 2019, according to their spokesmen.
The president of Parks and resorts, Walt Disney, Bob Chapek, was in charge of conducting the official announcement from the fair D23 Expo 2018 in Japan.
Fans will be able to visit the new Disney World dedicated to Star Wars in 2019, both at Disneyland Park in California and at Hollywood Studios in Florida.
In contrast, the other proposal has as a purpose to experience an adventure of the saga during the 24 hours of the day by staying in a hotel which will be connected with the park Star Wars: Galaxy”s Edge and the still unknown date of opening.
The name of the park refers to the confines of the Galaxy because the adventure takes place on the remote fictional planet Batuu, which was in the past an important intergalactic crossroads.
There visitors will have to act in the midst of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance aboard a Star Destroyer and will also be able to conduct a real-sized replica of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission.
A real-sized fleet of X-Wing star fighters and characters such as Chewie, BB8 and members of the First Order will interact with Star War visitors: Galaxy’s Edge, who will also be able to tour a street market run by Toydarian, one of the creatures in the film Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999).
Those who want to stay in the galactic world outside the park will have the opportunity to stay in a luxury hotel complex dedicated to the world created by George Lucas in 1977 and connected to the park by a starship.
Hotel guests will become citizens of the Galaxy and will be able to dress as such. As expected, all rooms will have a view of the space, Chapek said. (EFE).
