More news at Disneyland Paris for the next few months

The world of social media is something that is no longer future but present. At Disneyland Paris they know this and have launched the InsidEars social Fan Club where they invite bloggers, YouTubers… and even people from internet forums, for example in Spain we have those from NeverLand who is a mythical one where there is a lot of information about the resort. The event was held last night at The New York Hotel and it has advanced a few interesting things, and novelties, that are going to be in the coming months and years.

Leaving behind the master plan that the Walt Disney Studios have with the three new theme areas, so many other things are being prepared for the rest of the venue. We start with the most important:

Mickey’s Philarmagic (October 2018)

It is an attraction that has existed for many years in the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World and is very funny. A three-dimensional film but with 4D effects, not only do things happen on the screens… but also out for the theater. The attraction is also located in Tokyo Disneyland, in Hong Kong Disneyland, and will open in 2020 in Disneyland California and this October at the Discoveryland Theater. The place previously hosted by Captain EO, Honey I Shrunk the children or Star Wars Path of the Jedi prepares the arrival of this film that hopefully will have all the elements of the original.

Phantom Manor continues its rehabilitation( reopening in autumn 2018)

Tom Fitzerald, representing the Imagineering creative team, is the protagonist of the first video in which we can see what is being done behind those scaffolding that has been installed in the park for almost half a year. Painting, changing lighting, cables, Audio-Animatronics… however, there is no mention of the possible new developments that will take place.

Colonel Hathi will be re-imagined

He has agreed that the park has a new director of restoration and this will be reformed. No details have been given of what will happen but they say it will be quite surprising. There is also no exact date of reopening.
